Summer has arrived in Kinsale this weekend as the sun is out and temperatures rise! It is great to see Kinsale Harbour Cruises busy on the water each afternoon and many people visiting our historical buildings, enjoying a guided historic walk from Kinsale Tourist Office or just browsing in the shops and galleries.
Tonight’s music includes Billy Crosbie at the Marina Lounge at Vista from 8pm – booking essential. Colin Deady plays Hamlet’s at 9pm, Sara Ryan plays the Blue Haven at 10pm, Reidh at the Trident, Sound Dog at Sam’s Bar, Anthony Dineen at Casey’s Kinsale at 10pm, Free Beer at The Armada and the Watermelons play The Folkhouse from 10.30pm.
Black’s Brewery have recommenced their Brewery Tours from 1pm-4pm. The Brewery is in Farm Lane, a short drive from Super Valu Kinsale or follow the signs if you fancy the walk!
Saturday’s music line up incl udes Jono at Casey’s at 8pm, Two Time Polka at The Blue Haven at 10pm, Stuart Dixon at The Armada, Gypsy Fish at the Folkhouse at 10pm, the Quays at the Trident Hotel and The Sea Captains at 10.30pm at The White House. Don’t forget DJs at The Bacchus and Hamlets too!
Hopefully all visitors and locals will enjoy a Happy Father’s Day on Sunday 18th June with many hotels and restaurants offering fantastic Sunday lunch and dinner menus.

Sunday entertainment includes Sunday Sessions at Actons with Billy Crosbie, whereby musicians are welcome to join Billy at Sidney’s Bar and Brasserie from 2pm. Later on at Actons, there will be a Tea dance with John Hogan & Band from 4pm-7pm, €10.
The regular trad sessions at The Blue Haven are at 8.3opm. Amadans & Bodhrans play Caseys at 9pm. Popular local band King K play the Folkhouse at 9.30pm and Old No. 7 with Clem Buckley and Ben Dillon play Hamlets at 6.30pm and the Americhanics pay Sam’s Bar.
