August, 24th Thursday, Compass Hill Walk for Heritage Week with members of Tidy Towns and Transition Towns to hear the history and details of the flora and fauna of the area. Meeting at the Bowling Green at 7.00 p.m. followed by tea/coffee at the White Lady.
September, 7th Thursday, at Charles Fort. “Charles Fort revisited” with Blathnaid Ui Chathain who will speak on the campaign to have Charles Fort declared a National Monument. Meeting at the Fort, 7.30 p.m.
September, 23rd. Saturday, Fort Hill, 3. p.m., Millwater, 3.30 p.m. Raising of the Irish and Spanish flags visit to Desmond Castle to commemorate 1601,
September, 30th. Saturday, “A Visit to The Range “ with Denis Gimblette, meeting at Church Square at 2. 30 p.m.
October, 5th Thursday, 8 p.m. The Great Famine in Kinsale with Catherine Flanagan and Gerry McCarthy at the Temperance Hall.
November, 2nd Thursday, at the Temperance Hall at 8 p.m. Leo McMahon will speak on “Keeping an eye on Kinsale”
November, 11th Saturday, Remembrance Day Ceremony at the World’s End at 11 a.m.
December, 7th Thursday, 8 p.m.at the Temperance Hall. Students’ Award Night with the launch of the Kinsale Record.
December, 24th Sunday, 2 p.m. at the Famine Graveyard and at Millwater. The annual prayers and wreath-laying ceremonies.
