St. Patrick’s Festival Weekend in Kinsale

There is huge excitement building in Kinsale this weekend, with the Maritime Parade and fireworks this evening, Friday 16th March at 7.30pm. All welcome, but remember to wrap up warm and keep pets safe indoors.

Saturday 17th March, St. Patrick’s Day, brings a number of activities with the Main Parade at 1pm from The Glen to The Trident Hotel at the end of the Pier. So many community groups, clubs and societies represent the wide reaching activities available in Kinsale, making our town a great place to live, work and visit!

Congratulations to Kevin Gould of Kinsale RNLI who is this year’s Grand Marshal. There will be a bucket collection during the weekend

The Parade will be followed by Ireland vs England rugby match that is being televised throughout the hotels, pubs and sports clubs in Kinsale. Cheer on Ireland as we bid to win the Grand Slam title for only the third time in history on St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t miss this exciting encounter and enjoy the lovely menus on offer throughout the weekend.

Check out the Kinsale Advertiser in print and online for special menus, gigs and events for the next week.

A very Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all, near and far!
