There is something very special about Afternoon Tea, now being served at The Blue Haven Hotel, Kinsale.

Whether it is a special occasion or the excuse to sit down for an hour or two in the afternoon,  why not treat yourself and a friend to the delicious array of savoury and sweet treats, complimented by freshly brewed Drury’s tea or coffee or a selection of fine herbal teas at The Blue Haven Hotel?

Choose from the savoury selection of Kinsale crab & shrimp bruschetta, smoked salmon & cucumber with wasabi dressing & sesame seed bagel, Cork spiced beef, pickled gherkin, black pepper mayonnaise in brioche or chargrilled chicken caesar salad with aged parmesan.

Then, select a vanilla or fruit scone with clotted cream and preserves, lemon drizzle cake with lemon frosting, banana bread or Portuguese egg custard tart.

Finish off with a decadent chocolate choice, including Belgian white chocolate and vanilla bean fondue with prosecco infused strawberries, pecan chocolate brownie, Drombeg whiskey chocolate truffles with nori and smoked sea salt or black cherry chocolate mousse.

This special afternoon tea for two menu is €39 and makes a great gift voucher idea as well as an afternoon of pure indulgence. There is also a Seafood Afternoon Tea choice and a glass of prosecco (€6) is an optional extra!
