‘Making In’ Seminar this Saturday 23rd September at Joseph Walsh Gallery

Joseph Walsh founded his studio and workshop in 1999 in Co. Cork, Ireland. He is a designer maker, realising One-of-a-Kind and limited edition pieces. Walsh’s creative approach reflects his appreciation of nature and also his desire to engage the user with visual and tactile forms.

Joseph Walsh’s work can be found in many significant international Museum and Private Collections and is regularly exhibited at major art and design fairs. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by University College Cork in 2015 in recognition of his contribution to design.

This Saturday 23rd September, ‘Making In’ an Art/Craft/Design/Architecture Workshop takes place at the Joseph Walsh Studio, Riverstick, near Kinsale.

Featuring some of the most profound and exciting voices in international design, this seminar puts Joseph Walsh Studio, and Ireland, at the center of a valuable creative dialogue. One that aims to stimulate thought, to question and to inspire.

As an admirer of the extraordinary body of work they have each created, we are delighted to welcome these visionary artists, designers and educators to Cork, to share their vision, their commitment to creativity and excellence. To share the beauty of what they do with all of us.
