Creative talent from far and near travelled to Kinsale for the 57th Kinsale Shark Awards which came to a triumphant end this weekend with a wrap party at Lord Kingsale where UK RnB sensation Dan Caplin entertained and participants enjoyed a G&T reception sponsored by Blacks Brewery. Judging took place at the festival HQ at the Trident Hotel since Wednesday. The Kinsale Shark Awards is a great networking event and attracts top talent from ad agencies and production companies in Ireland, the UK, US and across Europe. Festival Chairman Peter Brady thanked Kinsale and festival sponsors including all delegates, entrants, Judges and speakers. He said Kinsale continues to be a really great location for the festival – “somewhere you can meet like minds, be stimulated and come away creatively charged”. County Councillor Kevin Murphy and Chamber Chairman Ciaran Fitzgerald welcomed Jurors and delegates at a reception at the Trident Hotel and the Shark Awards were awarded during a prosecco reception at the Garden Lounge at Actons Hotel on Saturday sponsored by Christy O’Sullivan Wine & Spirits. Fun elements included an egg& spoon race and a darts competition at The Spaniard. Another great example of a festival which is supported by businesses in Kinsale to ensure all have a really great time.
