Ruth Hadley is a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist with over 15 years’ experience in hearing and balance assessment and rehabilitation. She previously worked in the NHS in Bristol (UK) as a Chief Audiologist and Hearing Therapist before relocating to Kinsale with her family in 2017.
Ruth is extremely committed to delivering a high quality, evidence-based and safe service for clients living in West Cork and further afield- which she knows well as her family is from Cork City.
Since her move to Kinsale, she has been teaching and examining on the MSc Audiology programme at University College Cork whilst setting up and running her own private practice in Kinsale. Ruth’s initial Audiology training was conducted in Germany at the University Hospital Bonn, Department of Ear, Nose and Throat.
She also has a Graduate Diploma in Technical Audiology (2005) from the University College London (UCL), UK and Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitative Audiology (2010) from the University of Bristol, UK
At Kinsale Hearing Ruth offers Adult and Paediatric Hearing Assessments (4+ years old), Balance Rehabilitation, Tinnitus Management, Hearing Therapy and Hearing Aid Fittings.
She is also available for domiciliary and hospital visits within the Kinsale district.
Ruth Hadley is a registered clinician with RCCP (The Registration Council for Clinical Physiologist UK), member of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) and the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (ISHAA).
