Max’s in Kinsale is a quaint and social fresh seafood restaurant with lively atmosphere and friendly professional service and is situated in the charming main street of this West Cork town. The Restaurant is owner-run by Anne Marie (front of house) and her husband Olivier head chef since 1999.
Known for their large selection of local Kinsale fresh seafood married with Olivier’s fine creative sauces. Daily fresh fish selection is offered in the form of creative specials. Max’s Wine Bar & Seafood Restaurant are very conscious of the changing seasons and choose their seafood accordingly.
They stock a comprehensive list of personally selected wines which are updated monthly , featuring an excellent selection of wines by the glass. They choose the best vintages when possible. Offering classic French cuisine with an Irish twist, and come highly recommended by nearly all leading guide books.
For November they switch focus to wild game dishes and here again Olivier’s French flair and creativity shines through.
