OHK (O’Herlihys Kinsale) Cafe opened in 2017 around 150 years after the O’Herlihy family opened a public house in the same building. The sisters have combined their art school background with their experiences from working at farmers markets around Ireland to create a unique atmosphere where simple fare is presented in a no fuss menu.
Now a lively cafe is run by the 5th generation of O’Herlihy’s, sisters Carol and Sarah O’Brien. Carol and Sarah champion the best of Cork local produce from Toonsbridge Dairy, Horizon Farm, Howe Hill Flower Farm and organic wines from Mary Pawle Wines. The café often sells the fabulous vegan treats of My Goodness and Banana Melon Kitchen.
