The Dockhouse is a self-catered, private house, allowing our guests to experience the delights of the local area in comfort. Our Passive design house has a small footprint on the environment, designed for minimal impact on its surroundings.
The Dockhouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen, overlooking the water, perfect for cooking your own meals, or feel free to use the outdoor barbecue facility provided. Alternatively, there are opportunities to sample the local dining options a short walk away. The house has three bedrooms.
A fire pit is provided for your enjoyment; highly recommended each afternoon when the sun sets against the rockface, with a favourite beverage in hand.
It’s a perfect place for walkers, with Kinsale only a 5 minute walk or take the path to the Dock beach and James Fort. Explore the local area, enjoy a picnic by the river, and keep your eyes peeled for the seal along the river bank.
