Founder of RUXX, Sarah Ward-Hendry has always been immersed in fashion, design and manufacture. Starting out in costume knitwear for the BBC, then going on to work in fashion, photography, and then later leather goods. Design and making has always been in her DNA. Now settled in Ireland, Sarah designs and makes seasonal collections from her studio workshop and showcases them in the newly opened RUXX shop at 66 Main Street in Kinsale. Her passion for stylish practicality and design results in luxurious items to treasure.
With the finest leathers, luxury fittings and their signature silver lining, RUXX uses artisan techniques to fashion irresistible leathers and responsible fur finishes into exquisite pieces to cherish. Handmade in small quantities in their artisan workshop, their collections focus on innovation and quality of finish. RUXX believe that an organised life is a happier one, therefore each RUXX bag cleverly features internal pockets, compartments for phone, pens, key holder, external pockets and secure fastenings. Their signature silver lining will bounce light into the bottom of your bag giving a luminating effect as the inside of their bags is as important as the outside and the wow factor is paramount.
