Friends of Blue Haven is a virtual walk across the Atlantic to Newport Rhode Island, Kinsale’s sister town in aid of Kinsale Youth Support Services (KYSS). For the month of April, the staff of the Blue Haven Collection will collectively walk 4,890 kilometres!

Kinsale Youth Support Services was set up in 2010 and raises awareness for the challenges young people face, particularly mental health struggles. They provide various supports including low cost counselling.

The past twelve months have been extremely difficult for everyone in many different ways but one of the biggest factors from the impact of Covid is mental health. Here in Kinsale we are so fortunate to have this amazing service from KYSS and the staff of the Blue Haven have decided to raise funds for them.
