The Pizza Boys is a new BBC programme following best friends and Pizza extraordinaires, Jez and Leuz.

The show chronicles their journey across Europe gaining inspirations, learning and refining their pizza craft. The series ends in them competing in the Pizza World Championships in Parma, their stops on the tour included San Sebastian, Bordeaux, Monaco, Bardi, Rome and Naples and Kinsale.

In October the duo came to Kinsale in their Pizza Van, ‘Smokey Pete’ and served up their delicious pizzas in the town and got to know the chefs and local cuisine. The pals went foraging at Garretstown with Suzanne from Kinsale Food Tours, tackled the Kinsale Rugby Club, mingled and munched with Olivier from Max’s and spent some time with Meeran, Cliff and Chris from The Blue Haven
