Kinsale Spirit Company harness the energy and passion of the Wild Atlantic Way pouring it into their range of Irish whiskeys and gins.
Founder and resident of Kinsale, Tom O Riordan, established the Kinsale Spirit Company and Kinsale Distillery and has been working on their multi award-winning brands.
He recruited his sister Clodagh, a qualified distiller, to assist and they went about foraging botanicals, sourcing exotic ingredients and after many iterations, came up with the multi award-winning recipe that is now Kinsale Gin.
In partnership with two local food and beverage entrepreneurs, Ernest Cantillon and Colin Ross, first sales of Kinsale Gin began in 2017 and were followed by the launch of The Battle of Kinsale Series which consists of three whiskeys; The Red Earl, Spanish Earl and Great Earl and the Wild Atlantic Irish Whiskeys, which are now exported to the United States, Asia, the Gulf, Africa and European Markets.
The Kinsale Distillery is building for future generations, and recently launched the first 500 casks that will be produced in their new distillery at the very start of the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale!
