Hannah’s mission was to create consistency for the community, offering a space that’s always there for people to meet, chat and of course have a great coffee. The journey started in a horse box and now they have a buzzy coffee shop in Kinsale town which is open 7 days a week offering expertly made coffees and delicious treats. 

On the first Saturday of each month Wild & Tame run an event called ‘Dip + Sip’ that they started just over 2 years ago. This event brings people together who love the sea and everyone and anyone is welcome. Everyone meets at the Dock beach in Kinsale at 7.30am to have a chat, go for a dip and then head into Wild+Tame to warm up. 

In November 2023 Wild & Tame had their first guest speaker down to Kinsale, freediver Claire Walsh, who took an audience through some breath work on the beach followed by Claire speaking about her book, ‘Under Water’ and everything in between. The event was held in Kinsale’s magical new library and all donations for the event went to Kinsale Youth Support Services. Hannah plans on having more speakers over the next couple of months, with the sea being the main theme.

Hannah says of her growing business “I have been fortunate enough to meet some great people through the Wild+Tame community and have also made some lifelong friends. Wild+Tame is more than just a coffee shop, we are coffee + sea + people”.
