Maritime Parade & Fireworks – A Must-See!

On Sunday, March 16th, Kinsale Harbour will come alive with the Maritime Parade. Watch as a fleet of beautifully illuminated boats glides across the water under the night sky. The spectacle begins at 7:30 PM, with live music and free family entertainment. The night will end with a breathtaking fireworks display at 8:00 PM—a highlight of the festival!

St. Patrick’s Day – A Celebration of Kindness & Inclusivity

On Monday, March 17th, the celebrations begin with the Blessing of the Shamrock at 12:00 PM Mass in the Parish Church. Then, the town transforms into a hub of festivities:

🎭 From 1:00 PM, enjoy free face painting, balloon modeling, and live music. Buskers are also welcome to join the fun!

🎨 At 1:15 PM, the Children’s Art Competition prize-giving will take place at the Tourist Office.

☘️ At 3:00 PM, the much-anticipated Street Parade begins at New Road car park. This year’s theme, Kindness and Inclusivity, will be beautifully represented by floats, performers, and community groups as they weave through The Glen, Pearse Street, Barry’s Place, and Pier Road before reaching the reviewing stand at the Pier Head.

A Town that Goes Green!

Kinsale businesses are once again joining in the celebrations by decorating their premises in green for the festival! The Best Dressed Window competition will add an extra splash of festivity to the town, making it a picture-perfect destination for St. Patrick’s weekend.
