The aim of the company is to provide custom built private tours to small groups, catering for the guests’ specific requirements.  Food is not provided on board, you are welcome to bring your own, but if you wish they can organise one for you.

 Brian wants to give you an unforgettable experience similar those of his youth where he spent summers with his family on various types of boats in Kinsale and West Cork. 

Guests can view the natural beauty of Kinsale Harbour with its fortifications and tour the stunning Bandon River. It’s an opportunity to see the town from the water, view the local wildlife and birds in their natural environment, try your hand at fishing or pull a lobster pot all in safe environments. All guests are welcome to try their hand at driving the boat. 

Brian has over forty years’ experience at sea serving as a navigation officer. He is extremely knowledgeable about Kinsale and the harbour, can recommend things to do and see, and he will entertain you with his tales of Kinsale.

The Mary Rose is a safe and comfortable boat licensed by the Department of the Marine, suitable for both adults and children of all ages and is fully equipped with the necessary safety equipment. There are blankets on board for those chillier days, but they recommend a jacket for the changeable Irish weather and sensible shoes .

Tours leave from the main slip, morning, afternoon, and evening. Pre booking is advised.
