Opening the doors to her very own boutique is the realisation of a dream that has been years in the making for Cathy. Fashion, for her, has always been a way to express individuality, confidence &  creativity. She began Ms. Ellies Boutique from home just before the world changed with Covid. As restrictions lifted, she started hosting pop-up shops around Kinsale and nearby towns. These events were a brilliant way to connect with customers face-to-face, to hear their stories, and to begin building something special.

And then an emazing premises, which is now the beautiful boutique, became available… and it was a perfect fit, hugely deceiving in size, super vibe as customers say and every bit as individual as its owner, a place where the boutique could truly settle and grow. Over the last few months, that beautiful new space is blossoming in the Glen of Kinsale, quickly turning into the town’s Fashion Quarter. 

Ms. Ellie’s is more than just a name. It’s a tribute to my Cathy’s late mother, Eleanor — elegant, thoughtful, and the style icon of her family. She had a remarkable ability to lift people up, to make them feel special and beautiful. Her father used to call her “Ms Ellie” after the matriarch from Dallas — always stylish, always in charge, and the real boss of the house. This boutique is her way of honouring her spirit and sharing that same sense of care and style with everyone who walks through our doors.
