“I loved the atmosphere and scent of candles, but I couldn’t light them safely at home with young kids,” explains Laura Lyons, founder of Sónua. “I couldn’t find a scented LED alternative t — so I decided to create one myself.”
Each Sónua candle is scented, rechargeable, and app-controlled, giving you complete control over the flame and candle body brightness, scent and scheduling The real wax exterior provides the authentic look and feel of a traditional candle, while the LED flame delivers a safe, flickering glow without smoke, heat, or open flame.
Sónua candles are designed to be scented, safe, sustainable, stylish, and long-lasting. The interchangeable scent refill system allows you to refresh or change fragrances easily, reducing waste and offering endless possibilities for customizing your home ambience.
The first collection features gift sets, including a candle, charging cable, two scent refills, and instructions for the app. Additional three-packs of scent refills provide over 200 hours of fragrance, individual candle packs will launch next year with the fragrance range also set to expand in 2026.
