Kinsale welcomes athletes and adventure-seekers to the King of the Hill Triathlon 2026, a challenge that combines swim, bike, and run across some of the area’s most stunning landscapes.

The Course:

Swim: Begin with a 750m sheltered swim at Dock Beach, perfect for warming up and taking in the coastal scenery.

Bike: Tackle an undulating 23km cycle that takes you past the Speckled Door, along sandy beaches, through Ballinspittle, and past the famous moving statue.

Run: Finish strong with a 5km run up Castlepark Hill, a breathtaking ascent that tests your endurance and rewards you with unforgettable views.

This event is suitable for seasoned triathletes and adventurous newcomers looking for a memorable challenge in one of Ireland’s most picturesque towns.
